Scout for Sebago Ice 1-7-21

I thought I would check Jordan Bay on Sebago today as the weather was perfect for the drive. It has been WELL below freezing at night so thought maybe Jordan bay may have a possible plate of ice to get me excited. When I drove past the Whites Bridge area there were white caps. Decided that the Raymond beach area could still possibly have a small plate, so continued down Whites bridge road to Rt302. Went to the boat launch/Raymond beach parking, and disappointed to find not one cube of ice. The winds have been blowing most every day, so the lack of ice understandable, but still depressing.

There is a cold snap in the forecast…
