Firstly, Congratulations to Dave Lussier who just won the European BloKart Championships held in Wales this past week. He attributes the victory, in part, to his excellent competition at Loring over the past few years in honing his skills. Way to go Dave!

A previous post somewhere back there has a nice clip of a BloKart start. As Dan Clapp says, it’s just like iceboating but warm.

Speaking of Iceboating, our CIBC Fall Meeting will be held Sunday October 29 at the Damariscotta Lake Farm Inn, in the Ball Room. Entrance on the north side of the building, right where we used to meet in the days of David Lampton.
Meeting to start at 11:00 sharp, Pot Luck lunch to follow. Feel free to bring boats and gear to sell or swap. The NEIYA Swap Meet will be on November 19.
