The north end of Damariscotta Lake finally froze late last week, survived the rain, and has left us with 5” of good ice. Surface looks nice as far as the eye can see. The shiny bits are smooth ice, not puddles. No shell was seen.

Launch at Lake Farm also in good shape. Stay away from the left side where the drainage ditch flows.

It’s looking like more snow/rain on Thursday so this might be yet again one of our typical one day wonders. You might have regrets looking back over the year: don’t make tomorrow one of them!
