Land yacht racing and cruising is back again at Loring Air Force base in Limestone, Maine. Without question the base is the best venue in the East for land sailing. Wheel up the DN and come race!
Tuesday September 19 through Sunday the 24th at Loring Air Force Base, Limestone Maine.
Tuesday is free sailing, touring and scratch racing.
Wednesday: Poker Run, scratch racing, group dinner at 6:00: Northern Maine Brewing, Caribou. The Poker Run will be more of an orienteering challenge, with a map and ten checkpoints to find. It will be a timed event with staggered starts. 1:00 start.
Thursday, start of regatta racing. First race flag drops at 10:00. Unlimited starts first, followed by BloKarts two minutes later. Courses to be announced at 9:00 Skippers Meeting.
Friday, racing.
Saturday, racing, no start later than 2:00. Super cookout dinner, awards after.
Sunday, reserve racing day if needed. No race start after 12:00. Leftovers lunch.
For those staying at the Bunker Inn, breakfast will be served Thursday, Friday, Saturday starting at 7:00. $15.00 per breakfast.

Micheal Young has just finished the second run of iceboat racing games. This a great way to play with your iceboat buddies in the off season, or to encourage new sailors to give iceboating a try. 
The game was given a good hard play at the CIBC Spring Meeting and was pronounced a hands down a success.
