Damariscotta Lake, Fall Meeting

Lake Farm is the main launch site of this all time favorite Maine lake. For a few years we had use of the cabin near the launch ramp. It was a wonderful luxury having a warm place to get changed, have lunch, and dry off swimmers.

When it was sold we were relegated to launching at the nearby beach, which is still a terrific asset to the club. Every now and then one of the little cabins that line the drive come up for sale. This particular one was sold a few years ago needing a lot of work. It’s now back on the market, all fixed up and ready to go. It’s the first one in the row, a stones throw from the beach launch.

If there is an iceboater out there looking for a place on a lake, you might want to have a look.

  1. Hi Bill,

It’s been a while since we chatted!

I wanted to see if we could come up with some kind of arrangement that would work for you and your gang when the ice is good and you need a place to warm up, dry off and have a meal. Do people really swim???🥶

Anyway I know the cost was prohibitive in the past so I’d love to talk through what you need and what I might possibly offer.

Let me know if you’d like to chat :)

    Best,
    Tracey
