Built in the twenties and not sailed since the early nineties, this Hudson River classic was excavated from a local barn today by members of the CIBC Archeology Committee:
See how many iceboat parts you can find here. It certainly took us a while. Stand by for more!
Meanwhile, our little Lac Abenakis in Quebec is putting up a valiant fight with mother nature. The plate is down to an inch but still holding. A deep cold is scheduled for late in the week, ideal for setting up the weekend. We will hold a regatta there if conditions permit.
Mysteries in the barn, mysteries on the lake; what a mysterious time of year.
We have an archeology committee? Good going.
