Looks like less than freezing temps have decided to hang around a bit longer. Perhaps they feel nervous migrating south the way they usually do at this time of year. Can’t say I blame them…

    “China Lake is less than 20 miles northwest of Augusta, Maine’s state capital.” says this website. Try northeast LakeLubbers — perhaps the Virginia based publishers have never been to Maine.

    I just read Meteorologist Larry Cosgrove’s weekly long range outlook — he feels it will be a mild December and it may be mid-January before we see any “truly frigid” weather east of the Rockies.
